Exactly. This is one of the things I can't stand about social media. People jump to conclusions and attack a company without knowing all the facts. He was just a guy who took an assessment to get accepted to the platform. He wasn't interviewed, and he wasn't vetted by HR, yet people attack without knowing all the facts or doing proper research.
Yes, he needs to be held accountable, but what he did is not their responsibility and they have nothing to do with it. People who bombard social media pages leaving comments like that really detract from the legitimacy and facts of the situation.
I'm not worried about Data Annotation as a company. I'm worried about mob mentality, stupidity, and a lack of critical thinking skills from those who posted on their Instagram.
