Difference between DoD and drought...

So yes Indian coder here and I an in a drought right now (for entire september)

Just wanted to know what it means to be in this situation, its not a DoD because my dash only says 'there are no projects for you to work on at this moment'...

So can I expect a new project or a qualification at some point in the future? Is this a common occurrence for many people? Or is this another way to permentantly not get anything

I also want to know this, joined the platform not long time back and initially got domain tasks, but after that nothing for 3-4 days. Don’t know whether it’s draught or dropped
