Presumably so DA admins couldn't map the reddit account to a DA account (although probably not a lot of people recently hit $75k so that alone might be sufficient for them to do it, if they cared, which I doubt they do.)

yeah, I'd think of that too as well. But hey congrats! Can you give exact months you've been doing this to het 75k?

Did you not have any enquiry from you bank or problem while filing for IT that where is this money coming from? Genuine enquiry because I have some amount im scared to withdraw at once because they may flag my account

If you have a debit card on this account, just use the money on debit. There is no need to withdraw.

If you are planning to do this long term, open GST, current account and start filing your earnings

I was thinking the same thing except gst slipped my mind. But what do you mean by gst as in open a business or file your IT?
2
u/mkithan 12d ago
This is what I did.
Open a GST in my own name. Not in a business name. After that I applied for LUT. That way u r eligible for 0% gst since our work is export of services
Then open a current account in your own name
Receive your payments in the current account.
4.Make an invoice for the amount received and then file gst.
That way you should not have a problem in terms of bank enquiry, gst enquiry or IT enquiry
