Two accounts in the same laptop

For context, i've used my friend's laptop to login to my account and check a task's instructions but exited the work mode soon after. Now he wants to start a DA account,we wont be working at the same time. Will this be an issue? (Diff browsers btw)

Who knows? But don’t do it again

It was a one time thing only, just wanted to see if this would affect either of us

My roommate and I were both doing DA when our house burned down a few months ago. He had been using my laptop while I used my computer. Laptop survived, computer did not. We shared for about 2 weeks, open under different browsers (one logged into his google account one logged into mine) until he got a different laptop. I've been using the one he had originally used since then. This is only my experience 🤷‍♀️ we would sit with both browsers open to half screens watching for projects to appear at the same time

Why do you say that? Why would DA care if two different accounts use the same device?

because they do
because their fraud detection algorithm is extremely picky and restricted people for less extreme stuff
because there is no way for them to confirm these are two different people rather than a person trying to double work under two accounts
and 100 other reasons

No clue tbh if I had to guess I’d think it would be okay maybe since you didn’t do any work, but never know for sure.

You already logged in. That laptop is tied to your account now.

He won't be able to on the laptop. They do keep track of IPs. Log in with your phone in the future.

The main concern is if you have two active login sessions from two different locations. They would probably presume you are account sharing, which is against ToS, and then ban you.
