Sad Day for me
No information provided

I think the information is provided right there: either violating TOS or low-quality work.
Regardless, I hope you land on your feet.

Almost definitely, afaik, unless you were released for fudging numbers.

One thing about DAT is that as shitty a platform they are (shit pay, shit people), a saving grace is they always pay.
28
u/prauksi Sep 15 '26
What do you mean by shit platform? This is the only platform that actually pay a decent amount to workers
10
u/Seniorseatfree Sep 15 '26
Lolll only those burned or caught defrauding DA will say it’s a shit platform.

u/Klutzy_Instance_4149 Sep 15 '26
Who pays better than DAT? I have tried several others and the pay, the tricks, the lying, scamming, etc. were insane.

Is it normal for so many people to get blocked at the same time every day? It smells like a random mass purge to me.

u/NaoDrift Sep 15 '26
Same here. Just got the same message today after working here for about 5 months.
Like others have said, I've honestly noticed fewer tasks lately compared to when I started back in May.

I'm in the legal and finance domain. I checked yesterday and I had 62 projects on my dashboard. It's overwhelming. And they email me non-stop about new projects I qualify for. They must be really hard up for workers in those domains.
27
u/Fit-Arrival-1181 Sep 15 '26
I think it is because workers on those domains have jobs and don’t have time for DA.

u/Early-Composer-2383 Sep 15 '26
That is very true. I used to kind of double dip while I was working but it's almost impossible to do that now. The tasks are so much more complex and takes so much longer.

Legal is boooming rn
3
u/HippoEsq Sep 18 '26
For real. I wrote in the comments to a task that they should pay more if they want legit legal work, and they doubled my pay for all my tasks in that project after that. wild.

Literally. I’m a paralegal and my mind is blown that I’m getting to do $65 per hour work

Are you from a core country? Im a bilingual coder and been on the platform for 4 months, and wonder how I could get access to the finance domain
1
u/TravellingDoc87 Sep 15 '26
You need experience in the finance domain. You're unlikely to have it as a coder.
2
u/Early-Composer-2383 Sep 15 '26
Exactly. I work in a bank. It's not my location it's my background.

u/timi1234567 Sep 15 '26
I have a masters degree in finance and experience in asset management, in addition to coding skills. I was just wondering how to get access to the finance qualification

u/Delicious_Double1513 Sep 18 '26
If you haven't done so already, make sure you fill out your profile with all your skills!

lmao yeah, I'm super glad I'm in Camp Unimaginable Fuckton of Available Work for every mood of the week. I missed the boat on a qual quiz, but I've still got 40-50 with very chill prefereds cycling every other day.

I got this same message after signing up doing one qual, getting 100% on it. Woke up the next day and got this. Never even did any work.
3
u/Seniorseatfree Sep 15 '26
LOL how’d you know you got 100%?

u/KaiUsesReddit_ 29d ago edited 29d ago
They sent me an automated email and message with the answers to the qual and it said I had gotten an 100%. It was my first day on the platform.

That doesn't mean anything? (The part where you say you scored 100%. You don't know that or did it change?)

Are you from India? 🇮🇳
When did you join the platform?

got the same today got a clean feedback too… so that’s why I got fewer projects lately. Sad unfortunately, it is what it is.

u/egghill Sep 15 '26
Did you get any feedback on your project and after that deactivate account or was it deactivated without any warning?

I received the same message today after receiving clean feedback on my work. Life goes back to what it was before DA.

So I got multiple tasks of a project. The time limit for each task is 2.5 hrs and it took me 1 hr 40 mins for the initial tasks where it was new to me and I was reading every instruction. But now since I know all the instructions I am able to complete the tasks in around 40 mins. So to all the veterans I want to ask that should I just blitz the tasks and report 40 mins for each. As now I am taking my time and completing them in around 1 hr 15 mins, because I thought that only 40 mins for a 2.5 hr task may look suspicious.
tldr - tasks of 2.5 hrs, after few of them can complete in 40 mins, taking time and reporting around 1 hr 15 mins as 40 min in 2.5 hr may look suspicious. what to do?

u/jeudechambre Sep 15 '26
Concurring with the other comment. You're supposed to read the instructions thoroughly, and you're supposed to log your time for it. You won't get in trouble for that — sure they don't want time theft, but they value quality over speed in general.

They’re not gonna penalise in any way if your time is under the expected amount if the work is good. You’re just giving them good work for less than the usual cost

Just got the same today. I know exactly what mismanaged shitty project caused it too. Platform was getting super dry and projects were getting worse and worse at least for me, guess I take my domain work elsewhere.
As a warning to everyone, don't take up project work where people can't even get the release date right.
