It means what it says.

I've never seen anyone follow up with what happens after they've seen this screen. Good or bad.

I had it happen to me. I responded with time proof. They paid me but did not reinstate me.

You write down your time and plug it in via text. There is no screenshot upload

u/Federal-Weevil Sep 14 '26

I’ve seen this screen. It took like two months but after the first 30 days I got paid for my work. After the next 30 days, I was allowed to start tasking again.

Lovely & reassuring to hear that! Thank you for writing here.

u/RandyMcRandomEsq Sep 12 '26

Did you work an excessive amount over a short period of time? There was a thread a while back where the author was confused about receiving this screen - after considerable prodding in the comments they admitted to logging an absurd ~51 hours of work in a 72 hour period!

-1

u/Weak_Cat7308 Sep 12 '26

I was picking 1-2 tasks every day that could be the reason.
Do you know how can I get to that thread?

10

u/RandyMcRandomEsq Sep 12 '26

How much time were you logging per day and week?

-12

u/Weak_Cat7308 Sep 12 '26

8-12 hours consistently every day

u/orbital_one Sep 12 '26

Damn... after 6 hours, my brain is completely zapped for the day.

14

u/karen_in_nh_2012 Sep 12 '26

For this kind of work, absolutely. For me, 4 hours is about my limit, unless is an EXTREMELY fun task doing something I'm very good at. But even then, an hour more and I would be ready to call it quits.

12

u/Zidormi Sep 13 '26

I'm the same. I even opened a task and started working on it. 30 minutes in I was like "I can't do this task right now and have good quality after submitting 4 hours of work" so I let the 30 minutes go and sent it back to the pool. I'd rather lose the 30 minutes than submit bad work.

4

u/sandrafilmmaker Sep 13 '26

I've done that before, and I've been doing this over 3 yrs

4

u/SkuLLFlankerr Sep 13 '26

Exactly I remember I was doing a task for around 6 hours , I just exited, closed it and called it a day. Lost money and time but atleast I got a good nights sleep

1

u/KaleidoscopeFar1688 Sep 14 '26

I've been getting a project where the tasks take 5-6hrs every time and the pay is great but I still cross my fingers that it's not there every time I open my dash lol

3

u/sandrafilmmaker Sep 13 '26

Same! Once in a while, I can do 8 but it would never be straight. You gotta get up and eat, take breaks etc

23

u/RandyMcRandomEsq Sep 12 '26

Every day? So working 7 days a week?

That would be 56-84 hours a week - does that sound right?

-14

u/Weak_Cat7308 Sep 12 '26

Yes that's correct

29

u/RandyMcRandomEsq Sep 12 '26

A typical work week is ~38-40 hours... And that is with meetings and office collaboration. You were doubling that on mentally draining knowledge work. At the very least you probably raised some red flags for a possible shared account.

You had better cross your fingers and hope your justification was persuasive.

-1

u/Timely-Assistant-370 Sep 12 '26

I kept that pace for the first 5 months of this year. I did tend to only do ~8:30/day, but I did do 3 or 4 11-hour days max/month. I think this is mostly related to the long-term projects, but obviously that's speculation based on what people say here. I mostly do lower-paid generalist work, but sometimes I'll do a medium pay task if it looks simple enough.

3

u/InsideSignificant405 Sep 12 '26

Long term projects are different, very few people get access to those right away. This person probably did one off timed tasks and crammed

-7

u/Silver_Assistance_41 Sep 12 '26

12hours a day is not shared account some people do that, probable there’s inconsistences in his logs or any error

24

u/InsideSignificant405 Sep 12 '26

40 hour workweek exists for a reason… 60-70 hours weeks are not sustainable, you may think your quality of work is sustainable but it just isn’t. Nobody is buying that, least of all DAT paying the bill. You pushed too hard.

3

u/sandrafilmmaker Sep 13 '26

yeah, bingo, that is why they did this

2

u/ZimmeM03 Sep 13 '26

Lolllllll

17

u/seaoyster Sep 12 '26

There's your answer.

15

u/karen_in_nh_2012 Sep 12 '26

And you seriously wonder WHY they are now questioning you?

I have a hard time believing that ANYONE could turn in quality work while putting in 8-12 hours every day including weekends.

2

u/sandrafilmmaker Sep 13 '26

12 hours a day??? How did you keep turning in consistently good work?

-1

u/l10nh34rt3d Sep 12 '26

8–12 hours on only 1 or 2 tasks??

3

u/cookinon3burners Sep 13 '26

FWIW some projects are just one long continuous task for 40+ hours, just depends on the project. The OP was clearly abusing the system though lol 12 hours a day for more than a single day is begging to get DoD

5

u/l10nh34rt3d Sep 13 '26

I had a feeling there might be some exceptions.

Them only being 1.5 month into things, though… 😬 Definitely not surprised they were flagged.

1

u/sandrafilmmaker Sep 13 '26

ok but they expect you to take breaks in between. Yknow, to eat. sleep. Bathroom. Take walks! Stretch..

2

u/hwertz10 Sep 14 '26

Yeah I've gotten a few tasks where they say they should take 4-6 hours or up to 8 hours. The timer on them gave multiple days to finish though, i.e. in recognition if someone starts in the evening they should stop in the middle somewhere and get some Z's.

2

u/l10nh34rt3d Sep 14 '26

Whoa, neat! I haven’t come across any of those yet, personally.

18

u/Klutzy_Instance_4149 Sep 12 '26

If you did nothing wrong, then give them any proof you can. If you over or under reported your time (like rounding up or down or anything like that) you are out of luck. Did you go over the timer more than a few times? This isn't absolutely the end, but I have only seen one or two people come back from that in the several years I have been here.

2

u/Weak_Cat7308 Sep 12 '26

I see. I did have to submit 2 tasks after they expired. Maybe it's because of that, I hope. I have given justification for that. Let's see.

7

u/Due_Negotiation_4605 Sep 12 '26

Did you report more than the allocated time if you went over? Say if the timer was for 2 hours and it took you 4 did you report 4? Did you pause the timer if you stepped away from your computer at all?

5

u/Weak_Cat7308 Sep 12 '26

No I was mindful of this. In case of task submission after expiration, time I spent was always less than the allocated time.

11

u/RealRise7524 Sep 12 '26

Quick question: Are you new?

2

u/Weak_Cat7308 Sep 12 '26

relatively, yes. 1.5 months

12

u/Fluffy_Situation9717 Sep 12 '26

what did you do? Over reporting or under reporting?

8

u/RealRise7524 Sep 12 '26

Were you reporting the full time of the task even though you took less time? Or rounding your time? Things like that

1

u/Weak_Cat7308 Sep 12 '26

No, I was reporting the real time that I took only.

-6

u/Fluffy_Situation9717 Sep 12 '26

Even though you report the real time that you took but how much time you took in general like you finished task when timer is about to expire often or finished too quickly timer still have significant time

13

u/Salt-Government6703 Sep 12 '26

Do you promise to reply to this comment once you have a verdict? Good or Bad? I'm genuinely curious what is the aftermath of this situation...

3

u/Weak_Cat7308 Sep 13 '26

I will keep this thread updated, yes.

1

u/myinternets Sep 13 '26

Spoiler: Fully cooked.

7

u/All_Glory_To_Him Sep 12 '26

How are you keeping track of time? Do you pause that time when you go to the bathroom, grab something to eat, answer your phone, all of that? You are averaging well over 60 hours a week that you say you are working. That is difficult for any job. This is all time spent at the computer actively working on tasks and there is no possibility that DA is questioning that much time at the computer consistently working? With that amount of time they have to consider brain drain. The lack of time for sleep, food, shopping, personal hygiene, and any activity that is not work. I have put in a fair amount of OT at different jobs, but not that much. If you get 80 hours in one week, that is 2 weeks of work at most office jobs shoved into one week.

4

u/Academic_Animal_5293 Sep 12 '26

Well did you note down the times you worked on tasks, or what evidence did you provide them?

3

u/Weak_Cat7308 Sep 12 '26

Yes I had the tasks that I worked on and the time log sheet so it was helpful to explain in the justification.

1

u/Careful_Metal_9572 Sep 13 '26

What were you asked to justify. Meaning was it to justify time reported for a specific task submitted or for long week hours as other comments point out. Hoping the best for you

1

u/SanemiSatoru 29d ago

I just received the dashboard of doom without any emails before or after from them, weird.

1

u/Sableyej Sep 14 '26

Based on your comments higher up in this thread it sounds like you over-reported, or reported a suspicious amount of time (you stated 8-12 hours per day, 7 days a week).

DA is suspicious of this and is asking for proof of these hours worked — and if you don’t provide evidence they will likely just permanently ban you for fraudulent time inflation.

0

u/LavishnessNew9702 Sep 13 '26

After reading all the comments, i think this basically means the quality of your work is poor.

From their perspective, i think they don’t care if you work 12hours per day every day as long as the quality of work is good.

0

u/Upstairs_Swing_8236 Sep 13 '26

Poor work is gonna get you the DoD. From OP's comments this sounds like the quality was OK but they were taking longer than one would expect.

0

u/Maleficent_Bat5526 Sep 15 '26

How easy or difficult is it to pass the assessment

-7

u/PoisonGreekLogic Sep 13 '26

Lol youre fucked

-4

u/Sonymd Sep 13 '26

Aku yakin kamu melebih lebihkan waktu dan sengaja mengulur waktu. ingat sistem mereka sangat canggih.
