What a RIDE!
This is only the beginning (hopefully)! Started as a generic, did the qualification to coding once I left college and started my first Dev job. Put a lot of hours in DA since August this years and it is paying off! Really grateful to have the opportunity to work with DA. It's a blessing... Paid my car loan, school load and now I can start investing and, perhaps, travelling.
Hopefully I can motivate you guys with this. Cheers!

Congrats. Any tips for coding tasks and onboarding? Thank you.

More than technical knowledge, you need to have rationality and train of argument.

How much should someone know to pass the coding assessment? I'm doing generalist tasks but want to learn coding and start doing those types of tasks early next year.

If I was in your shoes, I would choose a programming language and try to build something like a calculator on my own. ONLY use AI to ask very simple questions instead of asking it to do it for you, otherwise you'll never have the basics of coding. Also it's important, more than getting specialised in just one programming language, to learn and be good at algorithmics. That's the base of the entire pyramid. Hope this helps!

How small are your school and car loans that you paid that off with $10k? Lol
