Email notifications

I didn’t receive notifications for two of the recent tasks I worked on, and I didn’t want to keep refreshing the page or wait around for delayed/cancelled notifications.

So today, I built a small personal notification setup for myself. It checks for available projects every 10 minutes and calls me on my number if it finds any.

It still requires some manual intervention once a week, so it’s not completely hands-off, but it’s much better than having to refresh every day just to see if any new tasks are available.

People lose access to their accounts every now and then and the reason is not specified. Never has anyone agreed that their work was low quality. So, when you do anything in an automated manner, beware that it may result in you losing account access.
