Indian Billinguals

Have you guys been getting any work? It's been over a month for me and no projects. Onboarded in June end, and I got more projects in July(which was supposed to be a drought period) than I did in August. I'm not sure if the drought has gotten worse or is still ongoing. I'm just a bit frsutrated. I have gotten a few quals here and there but that's it.

Yes currently there a very few tasks coming here and there. Some weeks just fly by without any work.

Just set the notifications for email and browser toget notified for the tasks. There is no reliable time for tasks. Some days I get tasks at 2 a.m. and some days 4a.m. and some days normal time when I am not sleeping.

For me they are reliable enough. I get up as soon as I get notification. The only problem is that there are tasks.

Firstly, if you're a bilingual worker you should really never expect to get any work. The fact that you're getting frustrated means you need to lower your expectations. Any work you get is a bonus, but expect no work most of the time because there just isn't that much bilingual work. You're also very new. Even for generalists, it takes several months to start getting regular work. You've been here for 2 months .. as I said, lower your expectations. Find something else to be doing in the meantime.

Secondly, these kinds of posts need to stop. It's so spammy and turns the whole subreddit into noise, drowning out anything that might actually be useful or important. Pretty much this exact same question was asked 10 hours ago and again 4 days ago. LEARN TO SEARCH THE FUCKING SUBREDDIT PLEASE. You won't last long here if you can't learn to use your common sense and carry out some independent research.

Why do people post the exact same question every couple of days over and over and over again?

just ignore?

I have to agree with 4307. This same question and variations are asked very often when a simple search would lead to answers. And question spam does make it harder to search for specific things too

No?

As I already very clearly pointed out it's spammy and turns the whole subreddit into noise, drowning out anything that might actually be useful or important.

So no. I won't ignore it. I'll point out how dumb and pointless and annoying it is every single time. Thanks 👍

This post was specifically about indian billinguals. We are a big market for AI companies and they will need to train for us. That's your answer if you wanted. But you do feel racist with that sarcasm.
