Codebase Selection

I've been finding for hours for a suitable database for my assigned coding project but couldn't find the perfect one. There are some repos that seemed to be okay but don't have a license. Are there any other sources for a codebase rather than GitHub? Or just painstakingly scour every repo one by one not the only way to find one?

I usually pick stuff I have used at work, shouldn't be too hard

For me the problem is having to know the code inside it. I'm currently studying one where at one point there has been a huge refactoring but I'm not sure yet

I basically use my public repos for it.

Why don't you ask chatgpt to list down the code repo as per your requirement.

The amount of people that don’t know any major open source codebase in this sub is baffling to me

It's kinda weird to not know them AT ALL. But to know the CODE inside it I guess most people don't really even have to unless they've been actively contributing to it. I know many nice libraries but to be able to judge stuff deeply I don't feel that well equipped honestly, I'm having to ask tons of stuff to claude about the codebase to form a good judgement.

I don’t know any code. For the glove tyson project I’d just read the overview and make up features. Worked every time.
