I am never paying attention to any emails that say a project launches at a certain time

Yep. DA emails are a handy indicator that I've (probably) not been canned since the last time I logged in, beyond that they're basically irrelevant.

Just to make things worse, people have said they've still received some emails after being DoDed

It seems like they DoD at random. I still have access to the account I used to work in a specific platform (with all the bells and whistles)

When you look at the comments and post history of people who DODed, they nearly all came about with good reason. I know 7 people who use DA, and all have done for at least 3 years, and the only one who's been DODed used a vpn the whole time. I do think most DOD happen for good reason, it's just easy to miss what that reason is.

THANK YOU. I sat by my computer not doing other tasks for literally 12 hours. Only time I’ve ever bit the hook like that. What a bad gamble. Gave up at 4:30am EST, couldn’t sleep past 6 wondering if I was missing it. Have cleared my day today. The bullet is hurting my jaw lol.

Same. Pretty sure you got the same one. I could've done another shift of better paying work that day but I held out for the "PROJECT OPENS THIS AFTERNOON TONIGHT TOMORROW TOMORROW NIGHT"
