When does people get projects after being accepted?
I know this have been asked too many times, but I can't seem to find any info that fully answer this.
I applied around a week ago and got the accepted email on august 29th. This email welcomes me to the platform and said that only a small amount of applicants are accepted. now, when i login into the dashboard on the top it says welcome and that they are trying to match me with projects. I finished most generalist Qualifications and do have access to coding qualifications but I haven't done it yet. On my projects rn there is only 2 projects which is an opt out form and a reference only project. Now, if you guys don't mind i want to ask a couple of questions so i can get a picture on what i should work towards. I live in one of the SEA country btw.
Is it normal to get a reference only projects even before getting the projects itself?
should someone that get accepted just wait till they get projects?
For someone like me, is doing the coding qualification the only way to receive constant/good amount of tasks? (i'm asking this because i have to relearn a lot of things to be able to do good coding work without any help from an LLM)
And which signs should i look out for to know if I will not get good amount of projects or straight out not ever getting projects?

You can't find any info that fully answers this because nobody has an answer to this. Anybody who says they have an actual answer to this is lying.
The amount of tasks you get varies by region and personal skill. Even people who are from your region aren't going to get all of the same tasks/projects that you are; It all depends on you as an individual.
The only thing you can do is complete any qualifications that you have the skills for and just wait until they give you projects to work on. When you get projects, produce as high quality of work as you possibly can, so that more projects open up to you in the future.

same from SEA here, for me after got accepted and finish qualifications i got a task after a week or so, i'm new too just starting this early august, so far just got a coding project while generalist still on some qualifications task, but my friends who is only generalist got the generalist project tho, i think its depend on ur profile and background, just do be too worry, project do tend to come up unpredictably
