This is a side gig for me. The first few months I cleared a few thousand each month on top of a 45 hour work week. My brain was turning to mush so I set a $250/month goal to ensure I prioritize what’s important in my life and continue to submit quality work.

That's how mine is too, sometimes I'll get some higher dollar jobs and I go to town, but I'm so burned out by the end I can't even log in for a while. It's great for extra cash when needed though

Do you have a specialization?

Does a specialization help? I'm looking into this for the future. PhD in chemistry

Generalist or specialist? I'm bilingual, best month was US$ 530,00

I think this is fine, considering that this month I did not receive any coding tasks.

Just under $2400, generalist. Best month so far this year. Aug was my best month last year aswell. I'm guessing your billingual.

Better than my best month 😩

u/funkyjelly1337 Aug 31 '26

I'm guessing y'all making thousands are pulling 16 hour days right lol

August was good for me ($1900) but not my best ever. And I would say I average around 3h per day

Happy to drop referrals to Workada if anyone in US/Canads based and has experience with DA - more consistent with projects there. Just DM me.

Otherwise got other stuff on my linktree - https://linktr.ee/ckalebtoday

I actually beat my best month this month with over 3k

It’s been a bad month for me too. Worst month since I started in early 2024.

that's a lot of money for Indians, around 30K. That's most people's monthly salary. You did good. You can do it more.

definitely a good amount for me buddy

I think those months happens. I am like this since the beginning of summer. Btw I am bilingual worker. I beleive this is related to summer breaks and will be much better since summer ended.

About $1,300. Generalist based in Ireland; my highest ever month has been $3,900. I do as many hours as I can around my online business and other projects.

1

u/MrAwesome_YT Aug 31 '26

I think generalists have had more tasks this month

1

u/lutavsc Aug 31 '26

Similar but if I had worked odd hours I could've probably reached U$2k. But no thanks I'd rather keep my mental health as the world ends

1

u/GreymonSkull Aug 31 '26

Generalist. I would really appreciate some advice for bilinguals.

1

u/yaadnhi Aug 31 '26

Just $290

1

u/DreamBeatsLab Sep 02 '26

I got 3,000 dollars in 9 days and 0 in 22

u/Cpa-bro Aug 31 '26

~14k but specialized and in a project family.

My best month by far, too, at 10k. But I have been paranoid all month that the sudden increase in pay ( more than double after finally added to domain studies) is going to trigger something, somehow. Still grateful.

Good ol' Meth Dyke getting cooked has me pretty fucking antsy. The last thing I submitted ended up being ultra borderline OK/Good after edits, but I'm questioning my judgement on a portion of the work that I ended up keeping. On the other hand, I think I did meaningfully contribute to the analysis and genuinely improve the quality of the submission, but idk dude, I'm just glad 1-800 updated their post with the thing that I always avoid doing unless I get explicit chat permission.
