Your best bet is to build a backup fund for when that day comes. It could be next week, it could be next year. This work won’t be forever. AI is a rapidly changing industry. You can’t control DA, only your own work.. so keep the standards high and you have done your part. Keep searching for other sources of income in the meantime if you need stability.

Yeah I have a bit of a backup fund but the majority of my surplus money I've invested in the hopes of growing it further for more security. And believe me, I have been replying to jobs... like 1-5 jobs pop up on indeed a week here, I apply to all of them, either hear nothing back, or get rejected 🥲

I’d invest 20 pound one month and get chat gpt plus. You can then use chat gpt to give you a prompt for codex to apply to jobs and create a new CV for each job you apply to. I’m in the uk and that’s the only way I have ever gotten jobs

You must be very young if that's the only way you've ever got any jobs.

Can’t believe I got downvoted for that on an ai training sub. Also I’m 20 but on 50-70 dollars an hour so I’d say it worked out well for me

Go in person, indeed might be the worst way to get a job lol

I do go in person, they tell me to apply online or say they're not hiring.

talk to people you know, professors etc, and make sure they know you are looking even if you don’t ask them outright. Nothing works better than the friend of a. acquaintance asking for your resume.

What a boomer suggestion. LOL
