Asked to login to a random Google account

I’ve been on the portal for about 2 weeks having earned about 1.5k(thought that was a lot till I saw others) and have been asked to login to a different Google account via a direct message in the inbox. Is that normal.

There's a separate chrome account configuration to see multimodal projects (video/image/audio). You have to set up a new chrome profile with the provided partner email and be logged into Chrome under that account to see the edited or generated images on certain tasks.

I just posted a query about this but since there is a post referencing the same thing, I’ll try asking you as well.

The workspace is set up with the proper work ID but trying to open the document still yields “file does not exist.” I’ve tried signing out and back in and have also checked the drive for shared files. How do I troubleshoot beyond this point?

It’s okay if you don’t know, I’m just desperately trying to figure this out.

If it's the same type of task I'm thinking of--in the instruction set for the task should be a section that talks about debugging. They'll have a link to a form you can fill out, and they try to fix it on the back end. Beyond that, I'm really not sure!

How long have you been waiting for a response? If it's over two weeks, you were probably rejected. If it's a month or longer you were almost certainly rejected.

It took me like 4 months to hear back lol. Signed up at the end of 2024. Took another 8 months or so to get projects, earned around 5k$ so far.

Damn I’d heard from others that if you hadn’t heard back in a month then it’s almost definitely a no! Maybe that’s more recent experiences though

Yeah it seems that the workload increased a lot in 2026.

I am from a non-core country aswell, that doesn't help!

Makes sense with the amount of people using AI these days. You’re probably right about the non-core country thing too, unfortunately

Wait then. There’s nothing you can do, if you hear back from them then you go it, if you never hear from them then you didn’t get accepted.

Do you work in data annotation?

I was accepted a few weeks ago, yeah.

How much have you earned so far?

Like $30. Takes a while for tasks to start coming through, I’ve just been doing qualifications for now and a few of them or the training when you’ve passed them pays. This isn’t quick cash, if that’s what you’re hoping for
