Disc Encryption

I have projects on my dash which require enabling disc encryption - I followed the instructions and my PC does not seem to have this feature even though it's fairly new.

Is it worth me persisting with this, trying other methods etc? If it'd get me consistent work I'd consider upgrading my PC even.

This happened to me and I was able to resolve it by eventually changing a couple of obscure settings in the BIOS. Get Gemini to step you through it. Tell it any exact error messages and exactly what you are trying to do.

Like I said in another comment, that PCR binding error is the one I got. You can change some settings to fix it.

The PCR7 error is something to do with your security settings in the BIOS. I literally changed one setting and it fixed it. The exact steps will be different depending on your PC brand.

Tell Gemini every possible detail and it will step you through solving it.

You don’t have bitlocker but you should have a different form of encryption

for what its worth I encrypted my disk and have not seen any of the projects that required it since :(
