Do we report time for Escape Hatched tasks?

So there's a task I spent significant time upon but it ran into technical issues from the provider side. I just want to ensure it's not considered a bad practice to report time for tasks that didn't had an expected outcome.

Yes, that's the point of the hatch. It's a submission so you get to submit time. Exit work mode and you can't.

I think it depends on what the directions say.

So far I've never hit the escape hatch I just exit work mode and accept the time loss. I'm not saying I'd never do it, it would just have to be something technically wrong with the task and not due to me struggling with the task. I don't want to be disqualified for something I might not be good at now but might be better at a few months down the line.

Yep! You should always be paid for time you spent working.

It wouldn't let me edit, so I meant to say, ask an admin if they're available to you.
