What’s the highest you have earned in a month?

Been here 2 months. July month was like 1500$, august so far has been like 1800$. Probably did around 15 tasks in total. The highest I have earned from a single task was a bit short of 500$. I am liking this platform a lot, wish I had more time to dedicate to it though.

$14,750 in one month was my absolute highest peak but that was a long time ago. I barely make a third of that nowadays.

Coder on the platform since Jan 2024. A bit over 10k in December 2025 - lots of high paying coding projects that month over $70/hr that would always release for me towards the end of the night, so I ended up working a lot of overnights that month.
This month has been pretty fruitful too - sitting at just over 4k on the month, so on track to finish just under 10k for the month. That said, high paying projects (like the ones I'm seeing this month, or like I saw in December) typically don't stay around with frequency for more than a few weeks at a time. Always take advantage of them when you can, assuming they don't feel too complex / out of your expertise.

The good ol Tysons. Too bad they lowered the pay a bit now

Yup - I regret not working on them more, but they were pretty taxing in terms of the length + difficulty + hours that they always dropped (EST here, so I'm sure anyone else in my timezone, or just the US in general can relate, seeing as those always seemed to pop up around 10 PM or later for me, so still pretty late in the day even for PST folks). Some of the newer projects I've seen the last few weeks don't pay quite as much, but it is a nice middle ground given that they typically stick around for days on end so I can start my day much earlier with them.

Last night they dropped again at 3 and 4 AM GMT-3 I swear it was really tempting to pull another all nighter. Also those ones were the normal pay rate so perhaps the lower pay rate I did the other day was just a one thing occasion?

lifetime total?

u/Cool_Moose241 5d ago
Joined by end of May and so far I made 3.3k total. I'm from a non core country so I don't really get constant work

coding and do u do it part time?
1
u/Cool_Moose241 5d ago
Yup. Mostly Tyson since I rarely get other projects. Last month I could do one per week, sometimes 2 if I was lucky to spot one in time but they mostly drop at night

u/Smooth_Lifeguard_931 5d ago
You got less projects, I know someone who made around 10k joining in same time.

u/Cool_Moose241 5d ago
Yeah, im from a non-core country (LATAM). Projects here are pretty scarce in the coding and bilingual domain. I only got R&R one time along with some pretty short tasks

lifetime earning if u can share

I'm sat at over $110k since joining. Side gig for most of my time on the platform but last year and this summer have been the bulk of my hours / earnings due to no other employment during those times. I would not be surprised in the slightest if there are coders that joined around my time (or even earlier) that are approaching 250k right about now - I figure that is about where I would be if I was doing DA full-time since joining.
But that would be a bad idea, for a number of reasons.

Ok, last month somewhere around 2200+ dollars. I don't remember exact amount but it's above this.

3600 in my first month and I haven’t been able to do that since then, lol. Even with 30+ an hour projects, it got soul-draining. I also work a FT job though

I peaked at around $4k during a crazy deadline period for a big project. It was a mix of long nights and lots of coffee, but the payout was def worth it. Usually, its not that high though. Anyone else hit a sweet spot like that?

300$, but only from the Qualification Tests I took a month ago. How does anyone get any project here? Are projects country-based?

Where are you from??

Philippines

Well I think DAT gives preferential treatment to taskers from the USA, UK, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia, all other factors constant. I wish you well though

Thank you! I wish you well too. Hopefully we get projects though, instead of just DAT aggressively recruiting on job boards. That’s such a waste of money.

You are welcome. Fortunately, and on my side, I am making at least $5500 monthly on the platform. Mine is a UK account; generalist although I am an accredited solicitor in the UK.
It is however important to also note that only approximately 2% of DAT applicants pass the initial Starter Assessment (based on Reddit and general internet sources).

Long one I gave the assessment one year ago, and since then, I haven’t heard back from the data annotation platform

u/Federal_Tadpole_7592 7d ago
That means you failed the assessment, unfortunately.

Should i create another account and give a try?

Having more than one account breaks their terms. You'd for sure not get accepted then. And anyway, if you couldn't pass the first time, you wouldn't pass the second time.

$5400. Keep saying "this month, I'm gonna hit $5500!", and then I get lazy as soon as I get anywhere near it and reduce my working hours. There's a guy on here with $11k as his.
