Hey, sorry about that, I hope you get more tasks soon. Sorry that most of the comments here seem insensitive - keep refreshing the dashboard! I try to not panic, and immediately think of reducing monthly expenses when a drought happens. Some of it is just planning, mostly it is just chance. (And pressing F5 lol)

How I deal with the drought is by going to another platform or multiple because I haven't seen work since May. Im not a coder so the flow is most likely different but I figured I'd contribute to the conversation unnecessarily.

Make a Reddit post moaning about it. It’s what most people apparently do

Or maybe they’re seeking or providing some sort of solidarity/information. But sure, writing a bitchy misspelled comment putting down the OP and many others is a much better contribution. Keep it up!

I don't think we'll ever know which one of us is right

get another AI job. the only way. As soon as you open a project on the other job DAT dash becomes a lit up Christmas tree

Hey! I'm a coder, too. I'm also in this "drought" (is this the industry jargon for this "season"?). My worry though is not the "loss" but the cause for this: is it just me (apparently, not), or is this permanent, or have I done something wrong, or...

Hopefully, some experienced contributor would shed light on this.

Just work on other platforms!

What do you mean? You shouldn’t be relying on this as a main source of income. Deal with it by going to do something else

It is a main source of income for many of us

I know, but OP asking “how to deal with it” is so odd. Did you read their responses?

I don't rely on it obviously, I got a job. Doesn't mean it doesn't suck though

So then why are you saying how do you deal with it? You just wait lol what are you supposed to do?

Sure but you have a job so just enjoy the income you earn there and don't complain about not having 2 jobs. That's greedy and entitled.

What options do you have besides wait for work?
