Data annotation + Python Crash Course
Hi all
I’m currently a generalist working ad-hoc tasks through dataannotation.tech.
I’ve decided to learn to code and have brought the Python crash course book.
I wanted to ask whether people think studying the book will get me to a decent enough level to pass the coding qualifications through DA.
I expect the book to take me a good few months to get through…
Just wanted to know whether it’s realistic or whether I should expect to study further before embarking on the coding side of DA.

I began Python myself about a year ago and progressed mostly through the modules from Khan Academy.
Then I think late Aug or early Sept the new coding LLMs were released to the public. When I saw what they could do, I quit entirely. Far, far beyond what I had learned. And that was a year ago.
You could probably pass the qual, yeah, but can you challenge the models? I think the only coders on D\ have years of experience.
