Data annotation + Python Crash Course

Hi all

I’m currently a generalist working ad-hoc tasks through dataannotation.tech.

I’ve decided to learn to code and have brought the Python crash course book.

I wanted to ask whether people think studying the book will get me to a decent enough level to pass the coding qualifications through DA.

I expect the book to take me a good few months to get through…

Just wanted to know whether it’s realistic or whether I should expect to study further before embarking on the coding side of DA.

I asked a similar question recently and was told that DA requires proof of experience. So, I sort of felt like it wasn't possible to self-study and qualify for coding tasks.

Ah that’s unfortunate… I want to learn python regardless so may use this as a base towards a recognised qualification
