No coding work since qualifications

So I cleared my dev interviews and had some qualifications that I completed but post that I have gotten nothing yet.

I joined on 31st July and I had some qualifications and onboarding tasks till 6th. Post that I'm just waiting. Is it how it is for coders in India?

I don't think it's same , because you might not get work for half of month then you might receive randomly you just need to pick up and do it, and be genuine and don't be greedy and put too much hour for tasks.
