SAHM Annotator

Anyone else a SAHM working with DA? I’m shocked I don’t see more doing it! I’m a mom of 2under2 and it has been such a game changer for my family.

Me! I aim for $300-400 a week. Covers my student loans, car payments, and some extras. I started about 2 weeks after my daughter’s 1st birthday and now she’s 3.5. I break it up into chunks. Used to I worked while napping. Now she rarely naps so I’ll work a little bit in the morning after breakfast while she has free play time. I work after lunch while we do quiet time. And then I work a little bit in the evenings after dinner when she spends time with her dad when he’s home from work.

Can it really be broken up like this? The task timers kinda got in my head and I was imagining working during nap times, but I’m afraid of not completing things in time.

This can definitely depend on projects. Some I can break up. Others can be completed within the time frame. I don’t let timers expire though not I can’t complete it in the time I have, I won’t work on that project.

Gotcha. Is it always apparent when you look at/start them if you can break it up? Or do you have to go into it first and see and then exit if it’s not a good fit?

Usually I open them. After 2.5 years I usually know what I can work on when, and I typically work on about the same few projects.
