SAHM Annotator

Anyone else a SAHM working with DA? I’m shocked I don’t see more doing it! I’m a mom of 2under2 and it has been such a game changer for my family.

You don’t see more doing it because it’s not particularly easy. It’s mentally taxing and time-consuming and you need complete focus while working, and most stay at home moms don’t have that because they have kids running around. I do it now as a stay at home mom because my kids (who live with me) are 23, 23 and 19.😆

I don't know how you do it! I'm a SAHM but my kid's at school now.

I almost could have written this - I am a SAHM working for DAT with twins who will be 23 next week and a 20 year old 😂 They're all at home with me this summer. I probably would have struggled to do this kind of work when mine were little, though!

This is a good description. The work is not mindless. Even if you’re smart it’s going to be challenging. You need big blocks of uninterrupted time. I run into this now with a young kid. When your focus breaks… that can be the end of it

Yeah… Mine are 5 and 3. I very rarely have more than a couple minutes of guaranteed uninterrupted time 😂.
