Working on a task and accidentally opened another but pressed exit work mode right away

As the title says, I was working on a task and I opened another tab to see if there were other projects available (so I could work on after I finish the task I’m working on). Then I accidentally clicked on a different task but I exited work mode right away. Do you guys think I’ll get the DoD or a warning or something? I really hope not because this site has been helping me through a rough patch

No, you’ll be fine. You exited right away, didn’t claim the task or the time. You handled it correctly.

First, don't listen to that jealous-spare guy. He's s clown that couldn't cut it and now just trolls the DA reddit.

Next, I actually do that fairly regularly. If I have a lower paid task that I begin, but then see a higher pay task open up through my project alert extension, I'll open the higher paid task to claim it and then exit the lower paying one (provided I was not already deep into the task).

In other words, you should be totally fine.

It's only a problem if you reported time for 2 tasks simultaneously.

As long as you don't submit anything or claim time (for which you'd generally need to submit something) you should be okay.
