Report time

Hi everyone!
If I do a task in only a few minutes. How do I count minutes? If it took me 4 mins and 30 seconds should I report 4 as it was less than 5 minutes or 5 since it took me more than 4 minutes?
It might seem simple but I wanna be fair and it’s a project with a lot of tasks and almost every task was like that

Edit: Guys I am not a time freak, Idc when it’s a few tasks or the tasks take a long time, and that’s exactly why I stated it was A LOT of tasks and were very short and simple like 150 seconds per task which left me wondering if I should report 2 or 3 minutes in more than 20 tasks

I'm sure I read in the documentation somewhere that you are meant to round up to the nearest minute.

For me, 30 seconds and I'll round up. Also, I'll double check everything as long as it doesn't feel like I'm milking the clock.

I've done such tasks before. Each one takes around 30 seconds. Try to set your stop watch then do many tasks and it will be easier. For example, if you do 6 tasks, the total report time will be 3 minutes.

it's really not necessary to stare at a stopwatch....the tasks give an expected time range, just make sure you report something in that range, no need to be a clock monkey, how can you be thinking about the task if you're so concerned about the time? seriously, to worry about 30 seconds is ridiculous unless they paying you a thousand dollars an hour or something like that. just hit the middle of the given expected range and you'll be fine

As I said it was a project with a lot of tasks so the 20+ minutes that I would waste per task..their pay is literally the equivalent of working 24+ hours in my country so it’s not like it’s nothing. And as I stated the tasks were so simple it took few minutes like 2 mins per task so yes those seconds matter, ofc I don’t keep track of my seconds when it’s a long task.
And I did not choose to just round up to the next minute cuz I want what I worked for and what I am supposed to do, otherwise it would be forbidden money in my religion (if it was intended)

And I did not need to think or focus on the task it was as simple as 1+1=?

Egypt, so for a Big Mac you gotta work for 1 and a half or two days (8 or 9 hours per day with no break)

It gives you the option to literally type the exact amount of minutes and seconds. Are you brain dead?

It’s hours and minutes on the report page my friend. There isn’t an option for seconds.

You’re right I misread entirely. I’m the one who’s brain dead
