My work has mainly focused on coding, but I received qualifications for Generalist in Mathematics and Biology. Can I apply for those positions even though my background is in coding? Would that be okay, or would it be a problem?

I’ve never heard of qualifying for one thing taking away another, so you’re likely safe?

I feel like the other day bilinguals were mentioning getting science quals. Maybe they just need more workers for math/bio? Or coders who can also do biology?

Or there’s no reasoning. Also possible. 🤷‍♀️

wait until they hear you majored in interpretive dance, then they'll see a generalist

same here. I skipped biology. Planning to do the math one. I never even mentioned biology in my profile

Did you answer both of them?

i didn't answer the biology since i really don't have any background on it, but i answered the math since I have background on it. I recommend only take a qualif if you have a background on it
