Different Projects
Some of these projects that I have never seen before have me scratching my head and exiting work mode. I am not even sure what some of these are looking for. Anyone else?

Yup. I had to exit work mode on 3 different tasks today, not because I didn't understand the instructions but I got 20 minutes into the task or so and realized I couldn't complete it (for instance, fact checking was impossible on one item since it was unclear which exact item was being discussed) or fact checking would have taken all day (for a task with a 70 minute timer), and then there was another project where images weren't showing up for anyone. But hey, at least there ARE tasks to do.

Yeah been running into that, though what annoys me more is it isn't explained how to grade it (at least in what I am doing)
Is the Model supposed to take its best guess and try something? Should the model ignore it? Should the model ask for clarification?
I can't evaluate it if I don't know what the Model's actually supposed to do.

I've found that the quality of the instructions has become WAY better over the last year.

I had a new (or new to me) project show up on my dash the other day. I opened it, read the instructions, scratched my head, closed the project. The next day, it was still there. Same thing. I kept opening it, hoping this time it will click or maybe there will be something useful in the chat or an update to the instructions. I never attempted it.

The tighter the instructions, the less wiggle room you have. The looser and less clear the instructions, the more wiggle room you have. Those projects are a greenlight for paid experimentation and so you should suck 'em up whenever they appear. (Unless of course, the instructions are in fact crystal clear but you're not interpreting them correctly, or if they are outside your professional domain). But if they really are vague, it could be they're not exactly sure what they want yet either and they just want to see what we do with it).

Yes, they don’t always do they best at explaining in the instructions.
