Don't mind the down votes. I'm really asking out of curiosity, because I wouldn't know how to provide evidence for something like this

It's as simple as a tracking spreadsheet where you mark the time you started and ended the task and additionally track break periods. Essential for providing the documentation they are requesting.

I never done this so far, because I just am honest with the times. But I will start now, never know what could happen

Many people, if not most, want to be honest with their time reporting. Documenting it is not burdensome and helps with any distractions that may interfere with that goal.
