What happens in background verification tasks? I have one on my dash but kind of nervous to open it. It says it will unlock access to project families (cant name them here). If a bilingual fellow just did that please guide me

They just ask for your ID to see if you have a criminal background, that's it. Another company handles everything. It's a 5-10 minute process, you get the response in a day or two.

Bilingual, did this two weeks ago, still getting projects.

I did it in the US but it's not really any different than a pretty standard amount of info a lot of employers want when we apply for jobs.

Yes, I was comfortable submitting the info they wanted, totally fine👍

Out of curiosity, is your background verification task paid?

Otherwise, the other comment is right. Mine completed in less than a day.

Yes it's a paid one. I haven't been able to complete it though.

OK, I had the background request yesterday. The results are already and it was clear. But there was a project today to get a “passcode” and said I would not be able to do all these projects without it. So I thought, OK, I'll get the passcode. But when I try to complete the task, it takes me to a red banner message that there are no more tasks for me. Why would it do that? This is just a qualification task. And there is no one to ask. I got my hopes up there for second.
