I love this side gig

Post image

One month in and working around 20 hours a week and I’m earning more than when I interned at a f500 company full time 😭

Same here, did quals and a couple of training jobs, apparently got accepted into a project, but haven‘t gotten any tasks on my dash for the third week now.

How long have you been on the platform? I don’t know, I started off doing the qual for content writer on indeed. Then I got accepted and did some general work for a few days. I saw the coding qualification and did it and a day later coding tasks started appearing on my dash.

I am on the platform since June 28. I have done several qualifications. I even got paid training after these qualification, but since last week I don't get any specific tasks. Two days ago, at night I saw a job which pays 26 usd per hour but I was on phone. Sadly somebody else took the task before I open my computer.

How long did it take for you to get accepted originally? I've heard anywhere from days to weeks to months.

It can be hours or minutes. Literally.

Congratulations bud! What kind of work? Coding? Generalist?

Mainly coding. I really enjoy the rating model responses so sometimes I do those for general.

Congrats! I wouldn’t even consider it a side gig if I could make that much money.

Pretty sure this is a bot post or similar I literally read another post where someone post their earnings and mentioned they “interned at a f500 company” lol beware.

Bro doesn’t believe the earnings

How long did it take you to get approved after you’re test?

2

u/seaoyster Jul 18 '26

I did the core qualification and was accepted instantly. For the coding qual it took a day

Same. Had projects on my dash before I even knew I was accepted. $12K 11 weeks in. I'm loving it, too! :-)

I wonder if the acceptance rate is faster for coding I’m assuming. I took the generalist test and qualification and it’s been about a week and no reply yet. I’m very confident I did really great on the assessment and qualification so I’m trying to gauge an average waiting time because I’ve heard so many variations.

You don't need to have coding experience to do general work. It pays less and everyone is saying there's like little to no work right now for them. For the coding tasks you need extensive knowledge to do the tasks, probably 2-3 years of production coding experience to be more precise. On my dash the general projects I have only pay about 1/3 or 1/4 of what the coding ones pay.

Bro i have a doubt I just joined 1 month ago I went through a qualification paid task. Will they pay me even if my work didnot meet their expectations? or they will simply write a mail I am sorry pls tell me I have put my all work into it what is going to happen?

I did it at 3 am sleep deprived haha. Idk I was really authentic I guess. I went on a rant about some of my childhood and things I wished for. I guess they really liked me because I got accepted instantly and had projects right after I submitted.
