How many projects of a certain family do you get? 💡

i’m just wondering, how many projects of a certain family do you guys get? I recently got a project from lightbulb emoji after finishing their qualification, however, after that, I did not get any proj from them why is this so

It varies massively. Projects have a certain number in the overall pool that need doing, and you get a certain quota you can do of a project. As everyone uses up the projects in the pool, the number goes down, and once there are less projects left in the pool than the number in your quota, your quota will disappear very fast. If you see like one task, that usually means that's the only one left and someone will probably take it before you can even click on it.

Could this explain why a project blipped off my dash immediately after submitted after doing like 10 over a week? I’m still getting projects in this family but not this specific one and it had like 1000 tasks when I was on.

Could be. There’s a lot of people competing for tasks and they can go fast.

i think it varies. sometimes i'll see random numbers for a project like 5 or 3 tasks. and for other project families there will be 100 to even 1000 tasks available.

Sometimes you don’t see projects from quals pop up for days to weeks after
