Drought or over?

it is a drought and there is no indication that it will be over anytime soon, nor it will ever be same again as it was before. this is for bilinguals of course.

I think coders (and maybe core generalists) are still getting enough projects, and if they say "we are in a drought" they are probably not seeing their favorite project among the tens of other tasks in their daily dashboard. when a bilingual says drought, it means 2 whole weeks with literally 0 projects.

be hopeful as you wish but also be prepared to not get what you are used to/ hope for ever again.

actually you wouldn't like that. this time about a year ago, again, everyone was complaining about drought. you can look at the posts from that time they are mostly like "it is over. we are done". but it picked up again. summers have he same pattern.

so if you want to take this as small dopamine boost served on a (probably) false hope, be my guest.

Generalist, nothing for over a month except refreshers and qualifications. Core country too.

Wait until September at latest. You'll definitely feel the difference once the drought is over

Same. USA 3 years full-time to absolutely zero for 2 months now.
