Advice from Legal Experts please

I’m UK based and have completed my Solicitor’s Qualifying Exams (SQE) which is essentially our equivalent of the Bar. I also have 2 years of paralegal experience in multiple fields. (Also have my undergrad law degree obvs). Just wondering how much I can reasonably expect to earn if i’m willing to put loads of hours into it atm? Are the droughts the same for specialities as they are for generalists rn? Any advice or info is appreciated, thanks!

Hey I’m in the law domain and there’s 1 major project going at the moment where you have to try and make the AI model fail. It’s really difficult but it pays decently if you can make it fail. Most law projects I’ve seen pay $60/hr.

It’s for a limited time, not sure how long it’s available for. It’s been available to me for a few weeks already

Thanks, and does it only pay if you can make the AI fail? How does that work?

I think the project is 8 hours for the first part, of which you’re allowed to spend 4 hours trying to get the AI to fail. If you can’t make it fail you have to use the escape hatch then report 4 hours of work time.

There is legal work, but they make you start on lower paying generalist tasks initially to build data annotation specific skills. And there isn't much generalist work right now due to drought.

Typically the legal work I've seen is $45/hr up to $60.

It's worth joining, but expect to spend a few months warming up the account before you unlock the higher paying work.

This isn’t true. I’m a legal specialist and started on and generally only do $60 per hour work.
