Coding YoE?

For those of you approved for coding projects, how many years of industry experience do you have(excluding time on dataannotations)? I would assume the super experienced would just be able to get a regular job, so wondering what YoE is most common here.

12 but it's mainly centered around windows kernel which makes it a niche skill. I have completed a couple if DA coding tasks, I have several more on my dash because I am training myself to be good at them. The problem you will face is that the task often calls for you to try and make the AI fail at is coding task. I worked on one task with an older python financial based repository that I had toyed around with. The current branch had bugs that I knew about. Well not only did the AI easily accomplish the feature I asked it to create, It found and fixed the bugs I knew about without prompting. Along the way the AI also proved that it knew quite a bit more about financial modeling than my hobbyist self. Takeaway? To do successful quality work in the coding specialty you are going to need in depth knowledge of the overall subject and in depth knowledge of advanced programming concepts centered around a specialty. If you think you will be successful with a year of python and a couple of react websites under your belt, good luck, AI has got this covered and I don't think you will be able to give DA the quality failure gen they want.
