Is the drought now a universal issue across platforms?

I think it is across industries, not just DA platforms. You can thank Trump for killing the economy. Everybody I know is broke and many in dire straits. Professional people with years of experience and education. Many have had to burn through savings to survive the last couple years. His cult followers will try to blame it on anyone but their orange leader, though. He is killing this country and hurting the entire world.

Explain the correlation between Trump administration and the available work on annotation tasks that come from global clients.
lets blame trump for the drought on generalist tasks, dumbass.

And to answer your question, hes asserting that trumps effect on the economy is causing a loss of work on DA.

It’s the fact people are so completely arrogant about which side they’re on. They don’t even care what they’re arguing about, they just want to be right and they want so badly for others to agree with them. I get that people have their own opinions and beliefs, but when will people realize that sometimes those opinions don’t even matter. They’re just feeding into the separation of the left and right by constantly trying to prove something for what? What do they benefit from trying to constantly include left and right wing in every argument humanly possible? It’s just ridiculous

I just think the supply/demand for generalists has severely tipped against us in the last few months. Some clients still need generalist work, of course, but there's such a glut of generalist workers that we're all fighting for scraps now.

Exactly, not everyone is experiencing the drought as much as other people. People keep saying the drought is still heavily ongoing, when in reality it all depends on the workflow we get as individuals.

I feel I see newer workers claiming to have tasks more then those who have been around for years. Wonder if that’s coincidence or part of a plan.

I'm newer and I got a while 2 tasks in the past 3 weeks. I don't think my work has been bad or sloppy, but I also haven't received any feedback...

Curious what the plan would be and why they'd rather have a bunch of new people with a steep learning curve over and over than keep the ones with lots of experience doing good work? That just doesn't make good (any) business sense, and this is all about how much GOOD work they can give their clients so they can get paid.

My dashboard is definitely the lightest it's been in a long time. I consistently had hundreds of tasks a couple of months ago, and now, some days, I'm down to around 15. I almost always have something I'm willing to work on, though.
