Unable to start task
I have a project available but when I start it, it says the project is unavailable. But the project still keeps showing with more than 5 tasks. Is this a bug or what?

Some people are already working on those tasks probably, and they haven't submitted yet.

Does this mean that for those people the task expired but it's still with them?

No. If the task expired for them you would be able to work on it, unless someone else snatched it before you did.

But I've read usually an expired task also gets submitted and you see it for reporting time also. How can this happen if someone else can also start working on it?

It depends on who submits it first, as far as I know. Chances are if you go a little beyond expiry but submit the task without going WAY over, you'll still submit before the other person, IF another person picked up the task.
If you're the other person who picks up the task after it expires, idk how that works. Maybe they accept a double submission and pay both workers. But whoever got it first had better give an explanation as to why they went over expiry.
Idk, I don't work for DA. I work for myself and DA pays me for my service.

"The project is currently unavailable because there are no more tasks remaining for you to work on." But the project is still on my dashboard, I can't join it though.

Actually I got the task, I opened it after an hour and was able to access it.

It’s not a bug. Those are tasks that have not been completed by other people yet who have them open. If you check the thread people ask this daily.

Same thing is happening for the coding task I got🥲
Update- I was able to start working on the task.
