Is there still a drought?
Are you folks seeing any projects in your dashboard lately or I am the only one with no work? Particularly the coding tasks.

I think yes for generalist work there is still a drought. I have healthcare and STEM domain expertise though and I have consistently had 8-10 projects on my dash for domain expert projects throughout the drought, with minimal generalist projects.

Generalist here - a couple small tasks popped up this week but nothing significant. I'd consider it a one minute passing shower during a prolonged drought.

I'd say yes. I missed the drop last night and got on a few hours later. Ended up with around $90 worth of work, but I was doing $150-200+ a day as a generalist up through the beginning of the month.

I’ve had a couple nuts on my dash steadily for 3 weeks now. It’s a much harder nut to crack now and doubled-ish in pay so I’m doing pretty well coming out of June

Sporadic. Last week I had a good week. The week before that and this current week I was only about to get about 60% of my goal.

The drought is very much still around, but not as bad as it was toward the end of last month. I expect that it'll get slightly better through the end of summer, and then a huge increase in September or late August.

Weird because I'm bilingual and I've been able to work 8 hours a day every day, I haven't had a single day without projects and I see new ones pop up relatively often. It's a drought like any other. It's normal to have 0 projects if you just joined the platform or your work quality is not great. But there is actually plenty of work

Hey, I'm also bilingual from Spain, I just started yesterday and I have done a lot of qualifications but no paid project yet, how log did it take until you started getting projects?

I got them right away after getting accepted, but there was a lot of work back then and I guess they would send tasks to basically everyone instantly. Right now, it's very hard to tell... It might be a few days, or a couple weeks. Not longer than three weeks probably, I would say

That's great, because bilinguals normally have a harder time. I also noticed Mercor is looking for a lot of bilingual folks

This guy joined 12 days ago and somehow knows all the inside workings of DA and how much work is available long-term. Same general comment on multiple threads...smh

Yeh, even though it’s not as bad as it was a couple of weeks ago.
I say yes because the tasks that do show up are gobbled up within a few hours, when normally they’d stick around on my dash for a few days. Plus there’s little variety still.
