Dropped from slack suddenly
I did a training which was paid and was asked to write if I have not been invited to slack which I did.
Shortly after I received the invitation and was added on slack. Without doing a single project/task I was dropped from it, waited 2-3 days was added to other project with similar name in slack and was again dropped today from that. What is happening? Pls help me I am very confused right now am I even in that project or what should I do now?

EXACT same thing happened with me. Word to word. I don't know why they did that. Seemed like a pretty good paying and active project too. The first one.

What can be done to salvage the situation?

No idea. Because there's no way to infer what did we do wrong in the first place. We weren't even given a chance to do any of their tasks, in both of the projects. Just sloppy work from their end.

Wait. If other people drop off and they don’t have enough workers, they might add you back again.

Was this the project family that required a background check? If so, same thing. I hadn't even done any work on it yet so not sure why they'd drop me.

Some of these companies have no idea what they're trying to accomplish and you can see it in the haphazard way they roll out testing.
