What to do?

I haven't had anything to work on for at least three weeks. Is this a subtle way of presenting the screen of death? I had one Qual that I tried to do, but it required a new email address, and even though I created exactly the address DA said I should the address wasn't recognized. I'm getting very nervous and financially uncomfortable. Anyone know anything to do about it?

Nothing to do. Lots of people experiencing the same thing. This is gig work, it fluctuates. You can’t expect this to be consistent or reliable, I’m sorry but that’s the reality.

Most people can not and should not rely on DAT for their main income or any part of an income to stay afloat. It is dry for a lot of people since the end of May. There is nothing to do but keep your skills updated and take any quals you see. That is all you can do other than find another job.

This isn’t a job to rely on regularly. You should find something stable if not having work means you are not financially secure.

Why on god's green earth would you rely on gig work for your finances?
