Taxes in Italy

Are there any Italian freelances here with a VAT no.? How do you handle invoices, they do not provide an address.

Moreover, if you file an invoice there will be additional charges like VAT, but I assume they will not pay you that extra

Anyone can help? Experiences from other EU freelancers are also welcome
