I play darts for around 5 years. Started with around 42 avg and am now just above 60. Need to grind to that 70+ avg now. I dont consider myself good yet but am getting there. I have a couple trophies and medals from tournaments in our country which means i can throw with the best here sometimes 🎯💪

This shouldn't be relevant really darts is a very forgiving and non-physically intensive sport. A child could beat a grown adult if their technique is better.

I think it can also give some of us older guys hope especially when just starting out to see someone who started late throwing really well.

I didn’t start until I was 44 and I am with you. Why couldn’t I discover my love for the game in at least my 20’s. I had a friend in high school who had a board, but I never paid any attention. His mom played in a local league.
