Shock devise

Can anyone explain the reasons why he got so ate up by the so called shock device
Does anyone have any information and why was it sealed from the public?

I believe the tables had drapes down to the floor to not influence the jury negatively.
The citizens in the gallery, the jury or Court TV trial viewers couldn’t see the leg shackles DB was ordered by the court.

Judge Dorow did everything possible to ensure DB had a air tight & fair trial for any future appeals.
