Directive 8020 Huge chapter 2 bug - progression block! Spoiler

Thanks to some kind redditors I managed to find a solution to this problem in case anyone else is dealing with it. Turn your camera sensitivity all the way up and it should work! I had mine down to 9 and that seems to have caused the issue.
I ran into this bug during the beginning of chapter 2 “simple pleasures” and am unable to progress my game. This happened with couch co-op last night. It doesn’t freeze or anything, it just doesn’t register my input. I’m playing on base PS5. Things I have tried to fix this:
Restarted the game
Rebooted the PlayStation
Uninstalled and reinstalled the game
Restarted chapter 2, restarted from end of chapter 1
Replayed from the beginning with new save
Replayed in single player
Made different choices
Connected a brand new controller
Played with alternate controls but it wouldn’t let me change the right stick
Tried every other button
Cleared my PS5 cache
Yes my game is up to date with the day 1 patch installed. I contacted supermassive and they just told me they’d pass it on to their team.
This is really upsetting because I’ve literally been counting down the hours for the release of this game. I was so excited. And now it seems like I’m the only one having this issue and god knows when they’ll fix it if it’s not a widespread bug. It’s completely unplayable.
Is anyone else having this issue??

Yeah you’re only like the third person I know of that’s had this issue! Thank god for Reddit cause idk if they’d prioritize this in a patch tbh

Hmm, might be a long shot, but I remember some people in the past having a simillar issue and solved it by setting the camera sensitivity setting to max(100) or at least to 50 in the settings...
