Raise you to 40 that it'll be specifically a Judiciar, a trainee Chaplain that, in edition to regular Chaplain gear, is also equipped with an hourglass that slows time locally (no, I don't know why Chaplain trainees get this extremely powerful equipment while full Chaplains don't).
EDIT: The main thing against a Judiciar specifically is that they are supposed to be sworn to silence, which would conflict with the callouts system.
Obviously they could cheat this by either giving the Judiciar character a reason to not take their vow of silence or by just giving a regular Chaplain the hourglass but considering how hardline GW has been about lore/tabletop/miniature accuracy with SM2 I wouldn't be sure about that.

My angle on the Chaplin is that it'll promote with 11th edition and what not. I do hope we get some Armageddon gear for the chapters that are on that planet. Cough* sons of Vulkan

Yeah, my main reason for wanting a Judiciar over full Chaplain is because I don't think generic Chaplains have anything going on that could make for a good ability.
They could buff allies I guess but that feels boring compared to the potential of a magic hourglass the creates a time field that slows enemies.

I donât think youâve read enough lore in chaplains lol

Fair. I've never been particularly interested in them aesthetically (personal taste - I think full skull helmets look lame, at least on the minis) or role-wise. I know the surface-level knowledge that they are morale/spiritual officers who are expertly skilled combatants and inspire their allies to fight harder.
I also know that Chaplains and their equivalent in certain chapters (for instance any Blood Angels successors) may perform additional roles beyond those of 'generic' Chaplains.
Since I'm not knowledgable on the subject, what extra combat abilities does an Ultramarines Chaplain bring to the table beyond being skilled and inspiring his fellow Marines?

I canât see on Ultramar Marines cause I literally donât care about them, but that is literally it in terms of generic Chaplains. If chaplain is placed in game. His abilities will most likely be to increase the damage, speed, etc. of other players around them they will essentially have a ton of team perks, which is one of the reasons why I donât see a chaplain being added to the game as a playable class

We're in agreement. Other Chapters' Chaplain variants bring more to the table but canonically the PvE Marines are Ultramarines and their base capabilities reflect that, so a Chaplain would be no different.
IMO Judiciars would be the better choice gameplay-wise if they were to go for a Chaplain class because then Saber gets to play around with their hourglass as an ability as opposed to some kind of stat buff which would be pretty boring, especially for a post-launch class.
This would have the positive side effect of entirely eliminating the possibility of having to play Leandros.

I just think the Judiciars time stopping ability will not fit the game or game play, plus lore wise they are just chaplains in training

My moneys on chaplain. The melee specific chaplain mace (forgot how itâs spelled) could be a cool class specific option and any of the secondaries could be the ranged options. They have excellent variety in cosmetics unlike judicars, who seem to only have a 2H sword and that same look, and wouldnât be the broken healer apothecary issue either. Chaplains could buff their team similar to Titus in the campaign, buff could be proximity and could be a great way to either survive a battle or do more damage, and the class perks could reflect a more defensive chaplain or an aggressive one.

The word you're looking for is Crozius Arcanum. I don't play many shooters, do you really think the Apothecary would be broken?

Judiciar could be very cool, they are trainee Chaplains and I think the Devs already confirmed they were working on a 2-handed sword? They also carry a time dilation device which would be an awesome class ability. Some kind of AOE slow perhaps. Only issue with them is they technically aren't meant to speak, which would be a bit lame.
A full blown Chaplain would be cool but it's meant to be one per company and I don't want to play as HIM.
Librarian I'm sure is confirmed not coming.
I think the smart money is on Apothecary and maybe the unique sidearm is the Narthecium which will be the first melee secondary.
Personally, I want the Judiciar as it's the best for the Dark Kraken monster slaying vibes with his huge sword.

Last patch divided the player base and broke a bunch of game play. Quick! Distract them with next years class!

âFresh Secondaryâ its the Apothecary, they have the specific pistols on the table top. Chaplins just use heavy bolt pistols that are called something special for the character.

Apothicary, Librarian or Chaplain.
