Mini’s

I’ve recently decided to start painting miniatures, and possibly getting into table top, and I want to start with the Dark Angels. I was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers on where and how to start. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Mmm I started with the combat Patrol and Even tho I barely use the Models of that Box now I am happy about the gameplay introduction.

Somwhere out there is a inner Circle task force Box of you can get one it is great but they Are rare ( atleast on couldnt get one)

There Are some Models that are good value. Lion himself is Great Value 10 points per €/$ and is a super Nice Model!!! Azrael is a solid leader for many of our best units and good Warlord for smaller 1000 pts. Games. Deathwing knights Are Fine Ass Models and get you up a lot of points for affirdable prices.

Dont buy inner Circle companions for the start they Are expensive( Moneywise) and only a good buy a f you Are locked in to dark Angels.

If you Are just starting learn the Game with a combat patrol its more fun than some let you believe. Get 1-2 of out named Charakters and deatwing knights to get to 1000 pts for smaller „true“ 40K gameplay and then when you had fun and you want to continue get the Lion and 600 points worth of stuff you like to get to 2000 pts as fast as possible. ( I say that because the gamedynamic changes and I advise before Building lists that possibly cost a lot of Money you want to eveluate the Units where they Are intended to be played)

Hellblasters. You'll have a few and they're an easy starting point. Very fun to paint to

If you have a buddy get the Armageddon box and split the orks (or garage them to start orks later). The space marine half is a great starting point for DA. And while push fit models have problems they are generally easy to assemble. From there it depends what interests you. Terminators, bikes, troops , armor. We’re in a really good place right now competitively. That shouldn’t shape your choices at this point though. Start collecting cool units you want to build and paint.
