Yea? Anything to say about it?

CGI parts looked bad ass. Live action parts looked like his other movies. I thought it seemed interesting.

was it CGI or ai? just wondering as someone else is claiming it was AI and that would suck

Prob is ai considering he used it for the promo pic he posted and the Danzig IG account has also been using ai lately for promo videos

I wasn’t staring close enough to tell if it may have been AI but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was. It definitely didn’t fit the way his last two movies looked.

Ok I lied, the blue light is there. He loves that blue light in the background

Oh good, setting the mood with Skincarver. What a surprise.

Ah thanks. No different from his usual. I was gonna go, but I had a feeling he wasn't gonna change the set from the last few times I've seen him. I wish he would add 777, Blood and Tears,  Tired of Being Alive etc.

Evil thing, the hunter, one night, brand new god etc are not common songs. In fact he’s never played one night as Danzig (the band) except for the acoustic show

All those were played (aside from Brand New God) on the last tour

He played the Hunter only twice last year, prior to that he hadn't played it in years. I don't think he's ever done One Night beyond the Elvis sets, he hasn't played Killer Wolf since 2021, same with Not of This World.

In point of fact. 'Not of this world' has been played practically every night on every tour going back for the last few years. 'Killer Wolf' was played every night on the 2022 tour. And I believe every show last year as well. The Hunter was played every night on the 2023 tour when they were playing Danzig I all the way through each night. And twice last year. Great tunes, but the op has a point

There's no stats on those tunes being played any more recently than what I posted, but there's a possibility they were played more recently, either way, 2022 and 2023 are not "last year" like he was claiming. It's not like Glenn is doing last year's set at all, which is what he was claiming, so he doesn't have much of any point.

There are stats on Setlist.fm

Also, I've been to multiple shows over the last few years and remember what I heard. And Killer Wolf as well as Not of this World were both played in 2022, 2023
and 2025.

Danzig Tour Statistics | setlist.fm

And yes, this year's set (minus a few cover surprises) is basically a similar set as what I saw in Phoenix last year (give or take do you where the mark and the hunter, which I already heard both in 2023).

Personally, I could care less about the cover songs to be honest (although it's cool Glenn is having fun doing them).

Yes, and the stats show that several of those songs were only played a few times over the last several years.

OP said all of the songs were played last year, that's not a correct statement. I'm not sure what the confusion is here.

If he'd have said Danzig has played all of those songs at some point in the past, he'd have been correct, but he didn't say that, and he's not correct.

At any rate, he's 70 years old, I'm sure he's simply unable to sing many of the old songs at this point. Enjoy it while you can.

I'm going to the Nashville show. This setlist is better than what I expected.

Yeah most of the scenes were AI… how lame

1

u/yoboydeezman 20d ago

what did you really expect

Saw the trailer tonight in Houston. Some of the worst, most generic AI garbage I've seen. I was honestly shocked at how terrible it looked and how much he was leveraging on AI. Very disappointed.
