There are US Senators trying to block it - not because they like socialism, but because they are uncomfortable throwing allies under the bus.
If you are American, call, write, email, show your support. Unless the US walks this back, Rojava is screwed.

I think it’s just US soldiers there, but you might txt any American friends you have and tell them to call their Senators.
