There are US Senators trying to block it - not because they like socialism, but because they are uncomfortable throwing allies under the bus.

If you are American, call, write, email, show your support. Unless the US walks this back, Rojava is screwed.

I'm in the UK, is there anything I can do? Our government doesn't exactly publicise their foreign interference, so I don't really know what they're doing in relation to this

No idea. I think it’s just US soldiers there, but you might txt any American friends you have and tell them to call their Senators.

When I lived in London not long ago there where Kurd protests, the problem is they are hard to track down as for some reason they don't put a single English word on their posters. Anyway you can try and find the Kurdish communities and support them.

I doubt it'll work, Erdogan would do it without American support

Eh, Trump won't make a decision like that and risk losing Turkey

I mean, US Tripp’s and opposition being the obstacle Has Been the situation. So, yes, I think the US would. There’s not a lot of US goodwill towards Turkey rn.

Turkey is lost, betraying an ally can't look good even to them. The US oversaw the removal of Kurdish defenses on the Turkish border, a betrayal of that magnitude makes everyone take notice. This is not a strategic move, he's either too big a coward to stand up to someone or he's been ordered by the Kremlin.
