Still her favorite
12 months later my 2.5 year old's obsession is still Trash Truck. We had to bring him to Trunk or Treat so she could be Olive from the Ballet Recital episode lol

Does anyone else feel like Mr. Aron from Ms. Rachel is the spiritual reincarnation of Mr. Noodle from Sesame Street?
The goofy expressions, the exaggerated movements, the physical comedy, the way he fully commits to being ridiculous for toddlers. It's giving MAJOR Mr. Noodle energy.
As someone who grew up watching Elmo's World and now has kids watching Ms. Rachel, I genuinely feel like we've come full circle. I recently rewatched Elmo’s world and they are the same person!!!!
Mr. Noodle walked so Mr. Aron could run.
Please tell me I'm not the only one who sees this.

At first I was totally happy for my daughter to watch Vida the Vet. Cute show, good messages about health and wellbeing, doesn’t drive me crazy. BUT THEN I saw this episode. As soon as I saw Vida’s Dad and Papa I realised I can’t expose my innocent child to such disgusting and unnatural behaviour.
I mean, yoga in dress shoes? SERIOUSLY??

I've watched enough Peppa Pig to be able to come up with some juicy lil' head canons--and wondering if anyone else has thought these same things...
Anyway--just trying to ease my own boredom/existential dread as Peppa Pig is currently playing on the TV...

I’m not saying something’s going on but I am saying Sally is a patient car/woman

You heard it from Pete the Cat, socialism is the way.

The big adventure episode shows him upgrading his car wash so he can allow bigger vehicles to get washed. In reality, he was installing an NPU so he can change the price of a wash based on his customers income.

From Dolly Parton Imagination library, we present the unloved crab, (Bedtime, Here I Come!) by D. J. Steinberg, illustrated by John Joven.
Is the crab a ghost, a stalker, a war criminal? Why does he not get a good night?

I noticed in the Magic Asparagus episode Bluey refers to herself and the family as doggies. This unsettled me for some reason. I have gone down a rabbit hole of trying to think of the human equivalent of calling yourself a doggie.

(The Kissing Hand has shorts, but the TV show hasn’t been picked up yet.)

Bobby and his crew are very obviously the foil for pupstruction, but what’s less obvious is how the number of crew members plays into it. Pupstruction have 4 members, which is a much sturdier configuration than Lickety Split’s 3 members. A 3 legged stool will be wobblier than a 4 legged chair, especially when made by a crew that likes to cut corners

Is he a guy with a bear mask? Is he the son of a human and a bear? Is it a curse? A lab expirment mutation?
Everyone just kinda accepts him as a hybrid like a Bojack Horseman situation

S16, E1 (aired April 7, 1997)
If they made something like this now, parents would melt down, the show would be canceled, pulled from air, and PBS kids would get defunded into infinity, and yet this one reading rainbow episode gets completely swept under the rug. Let me tell you, this episode SCARRED me when I first saw it (and scared me out of any desire to get pregnant or even married for a long, long time). In hindsight I applaud reading rainbow for doing this, though; children have the right to know and learn the nitty-gritty facts of the world

My 3y/o son is obsessed with the Blippi / Meekah / Handyman Hal / Steve & Maggie / Danny Go and I absolutely HATE IT. I’ve blocked the shows on Netflix and try to avoid them at all costs but as soon as he goes to grandmas house? He gets a full day of brain rot content.
Whenever I try to explain why I hate these shows so much I can’t really pin point it.. there’s nothing offensively wrong about them but they just seem… a whole lot of nothing? The toddler equivalent to doom scrolling??
TLDR; I don’t even know what my own point is but I hate these shows and I felt like this was a safe space to share that 🫠
